  1. The down sides of contacts...the first couple weeks you have to get up early because they will take a little while to get in until you get used to it, you rip one or lose one and don't have a spare, your at a sleep over and forgot your solution...those are all minor bads...

the real bad...you didn't wash your hands, or your case, or your lenses and you got an infection, your didn't listen to your doctor and decided you know more than they did and slept in your contacts for months and now you have blood vessels growing into your eye, you don't rub your contacts when you clean them and they have so much protein build up on them you can't see out of them and your eyes hurt and you can't figure out why.

The downsides of contacts is very small if you listen to your doctor and take good care of your contacts and it's case.

  2. contacts rip easily if not handled properly, they can cause eye infections if not disinfected well, you can get scratches from improperly placed contacts, you can't wear them if your eyes are irritated before you place them in from allergies, the cost of replacement lenses and the cost of cleaning solutions

  3. -The cost.

    -Ripping them while handling them.

The goods outweigh the bads though for sure. :)

  4. well the thing with contacts is that when you use it, you have to make sure it's clean before you apply them on your eyes. but if you forget to clean them it'll affect your eyes. it's better and safer to use glasses. but if you really bad eye sight than you have to get contacts because sometimes the thick lense glasses can damage your eye if you look at the sun too much.

    hope i  helped=]

  5. i had disposable contacts for about 3 months.the one thing that bothered me was when a bit of lint or something got in them.you would definitely feel that all day.i only got mine in several times perfectly with no lint on them.

my friends mom once got hers stuck in the back of her eye & she said it hurt a lot.this never happened to me though.

oh and if you drop one it can be hard to find it.i've dropped mine will putting them on in my room & had to ask my sister to help me find it b/c it was kinda hard for me to see it.i've been able to find them on my own too though.& my eye doctor told me that if i had to put them on over a sink to put a colored towell over the drain incase i dropped one so it wouldn't go down the drain & the colored towell opposed to a white one makes it easier to see the contact if you drop it.

  6. Here are the bad things:  cost of them and the supplies; losing one at a bad time when you don't have a replacement nearby; every so often they can get "lost" in your eye and it hurts; and it's hard at first to learn to put them in.  Most of these things are not a big deal and contacts are great.

The advantages of contacts definitely outweigh the disadvantages.

  7. theres a slim change u can Fu*** up ur vision... =( i cant wear them any more my eyes are extremely dry and i just dont know what to do anymore and im too young for lasik....ugh.....but hey this just happens to few ppl like out of all my friends im the only one with this problem sucks.......i wish u the best of luck!!!
