  1. an article I read says 45° bank  25° pitch for the '52, being general in nature.

  2. There are two limitations - the tech order and reality.

Tech order is probably 45 degrees bank and 15 degrees nose up pitch.  Tech order is usually based on ensuring engineering specs and safe flight envelopes aren't exceeded.

Reality is that the aircraft can probably bank to 90 degrees or more and pitch to 25 or more degrees nose up (for a short period).  The pilot would most likely have to use differential thrust to recover from a bank of more than 90 degrees though.

As one answer stated, you could probably do a barrel or aileron roll if you had enough altitude and courage.

  3. It depends on the altitude and speed in question.

Clearly, when you're flying nape-of-the-earth, you have to limit banking to minimal or you'll drag your wing into the ground. If you're high up, and your  structure can take it, you can do a wingover (past 90 degrees bank) and lose a LOT of altitude in a BIG hurry.

  4. well depending on the bravery of the pilot a loop and a barrel roll could probably be performed.

seeing that a 707 was rolled (both planes were designed at the same time and have similar construction strength
