you just select the wifi icon...if you have an original psp and have never updated it, you should, or you dont have wifi.

your psp will connect to an open connection, if there is not an open connection, your psp will be unable to use the internet. (just like with a computer)

PSP doesn't support 802.11g, so if your router works in "11g only" mode, you can't get the connection.

Step 1) Turn on your psp and flick the wifi switch to the on-position (located on the side of the psp)

Step 2) Scroll to settings on your psp navigation, scroll down to the bottom and press x on the network setup option, now click the network settings option

Step 3) You will be given a few options here select the Infrastructure mode and press x, you will be taken to a new screen click on the create a new connection option.

Step 4) Enter a name for this network (If your at home then just name it “home”!) now select the option scan to look for your wifi network.

Step 6) Now confimr all the settings and test your internet connection
