What is the basic outline for the steps in alchemy for turning lower metals in higher metal , base metal to precious metals?

What base metal is used is it lead or mercury, or both combined?

And can you give an example of how the process take place, and length of time if there is such a thing. For example:

step1-- boil mercury

step 2-- add element x

step 3-- purify

step 4-- hermetically seal

step 5-- wait 10 days to turn to gold.

I'm interested in the basic theory in the process for alchemy. Although I know the true details are lost or kept secret.

  1. one of the greatest contributions of alchemy is understanding that we (ourselves) are the base metals that can be transfigured into gold (something precious)....

    this is metaphoric alchemy....

literal alchemy can be sniffed out from some of Nikola Tesla's experiments.....a. einstein...philadelphia project

    etc

  2. Sorry,I can't let you in on the secret. If everyone knew how to turn lead into gold.Gold wouldn't be very valuable.I'd be melting my treasure down for fishing sinkers. If you do figure it out keep it under your hat.

  3. Alchemy is a combination of science and mysticism.  The science part was the forerunner of Chemistry.  Most of it is all about mysticism.  Do not be confused about the formula.  Back then alchemist believed that all matter consists of elements (earth, water, fire, air).  Their goal was not to make gold rather to free the base of "negative" elements and produce a matter which they deem pure--gold--and become immortal.  Immortality--this was the alchemist dream.

  4. Well alchemy is a mix of chemicals and a magic that i dont know .   Try dipping the metals in hot applesauce that has been boiled with cinnamin and ballsacks.
