What are the behavioural adaptaions of the Dingo?

  1. Dingo's have developed closely integrated pack behaviour in hunting allowing larger, faster prey species to be taken. In most areas dingos interbreed with domestic dogs which have become wild, increasing their genetic diversity. Dingos have learnt to avoid humans, most of whom are intent upon killing them. They are extremely elusive, crepuscular, hunters. They rarely take poison baits, and will sometimes regurgitate

    baits after eating. I know of no successful attempt to trap them. They are occasionally shot.
