  1. I haven't done full-fledged since I had twins and it was pretty impossible for me to do it, but I tried to do it!

I found that my babies were happy, I was happy, they thrived, I thrived, it worked for us.  It was what I was comfortable with.  My girls are toddlers now and they're pretty amazing and happy people.  Not clingy and dependent like some say will happen if you do AP... and they sleep in cribs despite co-sleeping for almost a year!

If someone isn't comfortable with that method of parenting then they won't do as well with it.

I think it really depends upon the family to be honest.

  2. My hubby and I are AP parents and we have a happy, independent, loving, sweet, intelligent, gentle and well socialized child.  He loves everybody, he never throws a fit if we leave him in the church nursery or with my MIL.  He is absolutely fearless.  I think these are all due to attachment  parenting.   I cannot imagine all of the wonderful baby snuggles I would have lost if I had not breastfed and if I had put him in another room to cry himself to sleep.  I cannot imagine my life with out my sling (to wear my baby in).  Due to EC my 15 month old can go potty all by himself (not saying that we do not still go through a few diapers a day, but he is ahead of the potty training game).  I have better communication with my child than I have ever seen any parent have with theirs.  If I am blessed with any more children I wll not change on thing that I have done with my first.  He is a delight and a gift from G-d!  I would encourage any parent to be an attached parent!
