I am angolan. At the present moment, i live in Angola.

The quality of higher education here is very poor. Most teachers are corrupt here. The only people that they( i mean the teachers) respect are the sons and daugthers of rich people.

My questions are:

1. What are the advantages of distance learning?

2. What universites have this kind of teaching( Distance learning)?

3. Would you provide a website, please.

Thank you very much

  1. Check out this school.

    www.pennfoster.edu

They offer distance learning courses for higher learning and for highschool, too.

An advantage of distance learning is that you learn at your own pace.  Penn Foster has learning material that is easily understood and very well written.

  2. You should ask this question in the Higher Education section. Homeschooling is actually parents teaching their children at home.

I can't help you with websites (although I can recommend that you stay away from Phoenix University), but I can say that an advantage of distance learning is that you can learn higher level material no matter where you are. You also have control over the pace you go--within reason. Since you'd be probably be an international student, the fees might be more expensive, but still cheaper than moving and attending a university somewhere else.

  3. Dear brother Miro,

the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (1 John 2:27)

For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. (Luke 12:2)

For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. (Luke 10:24)

  4. Hi Miro

As was said, this is for children and students who are taught at home.

However, I would suggest you try the Open University here in the UK.  They offer a variety of courses and they are available in most countries.  The website is:

    www.open.ac.uk

However, they are not cheap for overseas students.

The benefit of distance learning is that you can study when you want, so long as you meet the deadline for assignments to be completed.

    I wish you luck1
