What are the benefits of doing ODP????

I need to know if ODP is better than doing travel. Does it have better benefits?

ODp is way better than travel soccer.

BY doing ODp you can make state, regional, and national teams by making it onto your states camp team.  

Only problem with ODP is that (in my case), it is way to political and the whole system is corrupt

with ODP college coach are the coaches there so you are seen by them and it does look good on a resume. traveling to different places has the same effect only not as many coaches will be able to see you because of money issues, but contacting a specific coach telling them that your interested will help if you just want to travel. Depends on what your looking for.   If your concerned

with playing time, then I would suggest staying in

recreational or traveling teams. ODP is a program

used to develop and sharpen the skills of the player

with better than average skills to begin with. It was

developed to give the Advanced player an outlet

to stay in shape outside of the Varsity High School

programs. The program puts the player out where

others looking to build competition pools for

teams that play state, regional, national or even

international match play. The reason ODP is not

a good idea if your concerned with field time is

ODP looks for the player developing all facets

of the players game. If your just concerned on

playing all the time ODP is not a good program for you.

ODP is the best of the best concerning players Under

18 years of age.

it's awesome! You get so much exposure to high level soccer and coaches. It's the best experience I've had so far. I'm on the Regional team and going to national camp in Boston. It's freaking sweet. It's fun dude good luck.  

And don't listen to people when they say that ODP is messes up or corrupt or whatever. They are completly fair and they look for players that play quick and simple. The people who say it's fixed, they're just made they got cut. If youre good then they will Not cut you. No other excuse.
