  1. You get paid for volunteer work, just not in money.  You'll know what I mean once you do it.  Other benefits: You can learn new skills and meet new people and it looks great on job/college applications.  It really fun!  You should at least try it once.  Chances are, you'll be hooked.  Happy volunteering!


  2. schools look at community service and some recquire community service.

    get a better job later because you have real contacts who respect you for sacrificing your time.
