What are the benefits of drinking white tea?

I drink like a cup every morning, because tea like is yummy. And according to the package it's like super good, but it like doesn't list how, so I'm like skeptical.

  1. Black, green, herbal, Chinese - no matter what your cup of tea, it can be the remedy to many of your health problems including hypertension, heart disease and cancer. The health benefits of tea have been known since it was created in china a long time ago, i think almost 5000 years ago! tea is the most commonly drunk beverage next to water and research have found significant evidence that the Chinese world renowned for their culture of tea-drinking, have the lowest levels of prostate cancer and heart disease. Look at this comparances I drew up a few weeks ago:

    Black tea - fermented; fully oxidized has the lowest amount of tannin, ut the most caffeine. Green tea-unfermented, not oxidized has the highest amount of tannin but the least amount of caffeine. Oolong tea; semi-fermented, partially oxidized has a average amount of tannin as well as average amount of caffeine.... Hope this helps

However, caffeine does boost the metabolism, which raises the body temperature slightly. If you change nothing else about your diet, and drink five cups of white tea a day, you may lose as much as eight pounds in a whole year.

    White tea is good for you, and starting the day with a cup as you do is a very good idea.

  3. There are benefits in drinking black tea, but if you add milk to it you don't receive these benefits  because the caseins in the milk reduce the effectiveness of the catechins in black tea. Drink some black tea from time to time to get some benefits. It doesn't taste as good as white tea, but if you get a flavoured one (blackberry is great) and add a little sugar it tastes just as good

  4. it is a pretty good source of calcium, and it helps build red blood cells faster than a glass of red wine per day. not to mention that it is full of antioxidents which help remove free radicals (bad stuff that cause sicknesses and the like) from the body. It is also good for helping to loose weight. an enzyme in it when combined with natural grains like rice and soy helps you to shed excess pounds (albeit slowly, but i've never really seen alot of overweight chinese people).
