  1. E-schooling *is* public schooling - just done at home.  You actually mean "brick and mortar" (B&M) schooling isn't for you.

If you tell us what grade level you're at and which state you're in, that will help.

  2. I think Homeschool has More Advantages then anything else!

    Advantages

    #1  more Freedom

#2 Work at your own pace

#3 No uncomfortable desks for 7 hours

    #4 More social skills

    #5 No bullies

#6 If you are sick no playing catch -up

    #7 No gross school lunches

    #8 No report cards

    #9 You can sleep in

    #10 No morning Rush

#11 You can finish school in more like 3 hours not 7

#12 You can do school in p.j.s

#13 No waking up at the butt crack of dawn!

    To name off a few

    Disadvantages

    NONE!!!!!

  3. Personally, I think public schooling is the way to go.

Have you attended public schooling before?

I've noticed that most kids who were homeschooled all their lives grew up more antisocial and awkward than those who experianced a public school environment.

I can see the evidence in this, because public school has you interact and learn communication strategies and how to converse freely. Those who have stayed home most of the time might not be able to relate to others later on, and may have a hard time engaging in conversation.

    That's all my opinion though.

Do whatever works for you! =)

  4. I home schooled my kids for a few years. We had fun while getting a real world type education. We did daily work and went to many museums, science centers, did volunteer work and tried to connect with other homeschoolers. While it is a great thing the one disadvantage for us was not being connected to anything.  When you are in school you have many things in common with the other kids. My son would go to soccer practice and the kids would talk about things that happened at school, he had no clue. We were a little isolated living in a good school district where nobody homeschools. My kids are now back at school. They are having a good time. My oldest plays on the HS soccer team, went to homecoming and has a lot more friends than he did while homeschooling. My other two are just having fun being with their friends. You situaton may be different. I urge you to explore all the options and learn as much as you can before taking the leap. You may love it.
