  1. meditation on a subject can unravel it, on a passage of scripture will ingrain it in your spirit, and on nothing....will open up your mind to the army of satan's angels who are trying to send u to h**l, and get in for the ride if possible.  The best , and safest form of meditation is sleep.  u r naturally in a sub conscious stae, perfect for your brain to sort out things u dont have time to with your conscious mind when u are awake.  Hence the phrase"sleep on it"

  2. www.buddhanet.net

    www.viewonbuddhism.org

  3. fhu.com has the only legitimate meditation. You can download a version for free on the site, I believe. Otherwise, it's insexpensive to order.

Virtually all of the others involve eastern mantras and are dangerous. Meditation is not supposed to be a "feel-good" or a flowery practice. I highly recommend what I've suggested.

  4. Improvement of body luster and general health-When your mind focuses on a particular part of the body, the blood flow to that part increases and cells receive more oxygen and other nutrients in abundance. Today, many of the film stars and fashion models include meditation in their daily regimen.

Improvement in concentration - Many of the athletes and sports professionals regularly employ meditation methods. Studies have found a direct correlation between concentration exercises (meditation) and the performance level of sports professionals. Meditation strengthens the mind, it comes under control and is able to provide effective guidance to the physical body to effectively execute all its projects. Psychological Exercises are a powerful way of improving concentration and improving mental strength.
