Being able to talk to people who aren't even in the same room as you! I know I find it just as amazing. If your asking the benefits as opposed to a cell phone, price would be the main benefit, as well as call quality.

I have all my friends and relatives at my fingertips and need never feel on my own in the house, and if I need any advice and you lot are all away.......then I can ring one of my mates !!!!

It makes communication easy and simple and saves the trouble and effort of travelling to see and talk to someone. Also it is much easier to express yourself,whereas one tends to be nervous talking face to face
