  1. Nothing really, you'd just be healthier, if you think your saving the animals, your probably not, they just throw away the leftovers.

  2. theres alot of cholesterol in meat, when you dont eat any it will eventually go down

but I do advise taking a vitamin supplemnt if you decide to go vegitarian

and kudo's for being vegan!!!! :D

  3. Good question! I am not a vegetarian, but I enjoy vegetarian foods, especially greek and italian ones.

    1) If you do it right (Meaning: use olive oils and nut oils and stay away from canola, corn etc oils and trans fats) you will improve your circulatory system and other parts of your body (over time).

    2) If you have an auto immune disease (asthma, arthritis, scleroderma, MS) you will improve overtime and reverse the condition to some extent.

    3) If you have crohn's disease, being a vegan will keep it under control.

    4) By incresing your veggie intake, you increase certain nutrients and contrary to popular belief, you do not need tons of protein.

    5) Then again, if you do it wrong, you can really hurt yourself. I had a prof in college who was a vegetarian and obese, He and his wife always had wendy's frosties and snickers bars.

  4. Less fat in diet

    Lower cholesterol intake

    Better health

The ability to eat many foods raw (try that with your pork chop)

    Higher fiber intake

    Less offensive perspiration

Lower incidence of acne and similar skin conditions

Bow to the almighty soy bean

  5. nothing!!!

omg if you are thinking of being one of those insane veggies.. then you are pretty much going to be anorexic and DIE. lol i dont know why you wouldnt want to eat meat .. and if you want to be vegitarian because you dont want to eat all of those sweet little animals, than i can say this to you: you are eating all of the $hit that those animals eat .. SO you're making them starve to death .. GOOD JOB !

    but yea .. dont be a veggie , that's just rediculous .

  6. Vegetarians have significantly reduced rates of obesity, coronary heart disease, hypertension, type II diabetes, diet-related cancers, diverticular disease, constipation and gall stones.

The vegetarians also had fewer deaths than the meat eating friends and relatives they had nominated as a comparison group. Even though this control group was also healthier than the general population, the vegetarians were 40% less likely to die of cancer and 20% less likely to die of heart disease than their meat eating friends and relatives (3).

A vegetarian diet tends to be lower in total fat, and vegetarians tend to eat proportionally more polyunsaturated fat to saturated fat compared with non-vegetarians. (Animal products are the major sources of dietary saturated fat).

  7. Many! Since it is more natural to be a veg the benefits our endless. The personal benefits are better health (lessens and may even cure diseases), clearer skin, happier/more at peace, plus much more. The other benefits include not participating in completely 100% unnecessary cruelty to animals (which suffer beyond belief), doing less in damaging our environment and the water, and help put a stop to world hunger.
