What are the benefits or advantages of taking an additional subject like computer in cbse class X? ?

my school says i cud take a addtional sub. 4 da board...i was wondering why is it beneficial? wont it jus be an added burden or does it have some adv. like the percentage incresin? i mean what is the basic idea of this 6 subject thingy?

Ok, one of the simple advantages of taking more subject is having a better social life. Ok now the real serious part, having the more subject can equal to more knowledge of the certain subject of that class and If I'm not mistaken actually increases your score, also having the additional knowledge can help you in daily tasks such as having a wide variety of knowledge about computers that you learn from Computer class, having my potpourri knowledge has honestly helped me a lot of times, more than a literal million situations, but also beware of the disadvantages, as much as having a vast stock knowledge is good, when learning about a certain specific subject might be a little difficult. (Well for me still having a vast knowledge is quite helpful since my disadvantages are being covered by the knowledge part :D)
