  1. I wish I knew.

  2. the UN was created by the US to keep control of the world.

the only benefit is to be controlled by the US.

"If there is a problem between a weak nation and another weak nation and the UN takes action, the problem disappears. If there is a problem between a strong nation and a weak nation and the UN takes action, the weak nation disappears. If there is a problem between a strong nation and a strong nation and the UN takes action, the UN disappears."

  3. There aren't any and the U.S. should get out of it immediately!

  4. It depends on what country you are. Most people think the UN is just the Security Council - that is a small fraction of what the UN does. Most of the UN system works in development.

Developing countries get the benefit of organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, & WFP that work to improve the quality of life in their countries. Various UN organizations promote peace, health care, human rights, environmentalism, etc. All countries can gather together to solve issues facing the entire planet. The Security Council trys to protect the world from war when possible (I'm not saying they are very successful). The UN provides a venue through which nations can coordinate together to improve the lives everyone.

  5. Zilch, notta, nothing

  6. Um A. Watch Hotel Rwanda and see how detailed they can get to be

    B. UNICEF is one of the largest charities in the world
