  1. The pay is good, your meals, room and board are free (although you will probably have a small cabin and a roommate), you don't have much opportunity to spend the money you've earned, you get to travel and see amazing places, and you meet a lot of people.

Downside:  I hope you don't get motion sickness, are not claustrophobic, and don't get "homesick".

  2. The upside it that people can actually walk away with easily making 100,000  and more for 6 months . This is from Royal Carribbean 7 day cruise, because I asked the state room attendant. The quarters are cramped, and the food especially if you have to cook it is not that fun at all. If you want to work with royal carribbean especially expect 20 hour days non stop and only 5 hours of sleep.

During the twenty hours you are awake, you are expected to fold , clean, swept, scrub, basically anything that requires ship maintence. That can also mean lugging around luggage.

So yeah the money is good, the downside is that a person easily gives up six months of their life on a floating cruise liner.

  3. Unless I'm the captain I can't think of any...

  4. I heard its great money, eat for free, and when your at sea for long periods of time your saving the money you made.. because there's no place to spend it...
