hi im an irish student interested in studying in america, again I have another question bout the S.A.T.

what are the best S.A.T. subject test prep books, and do highschool students study from subject prep books, or something else beacuse in ireland, we have exam books that focus on the exam but mainly just show what came up from all the other years usually from last 10 years depending on what subject it is. and you can buy study books, but overall we have a set syllabus taken from the books we use in class and at home.

So yeah do you study in class and at home from the same prep book or do use actual books, and what are the best ones for the SAT SUBJECT TESTS.

  1. I found this SAT prep blog to help me quite a bit last year when I was studying for SAT subject tests.

  2. I think that the best SAT prep books come from Barron's.  A lot of times the book will give problems that are more difficult than the ones that come up on the actual test, but that only makes you more prepared when exam time comes.

For subject prep books, you can also use SAT prep books because they often go over topics with concise explanations, so it's a good way of reviewing what you've already gone over in class.  Or you could just study your textbook really well!  But sometimes people choose to have their school textbook AND another supplementary book that they bought from a bookstore.

    Hope that helps!
