  1. One of the truly indispensable SAT prep books is The Official SAT Study Guide.  It has real questions and real practice tests, and when it comes to a test like the SAT, practice is key.  The Princeton Review's Cracking the SAT is also very good.

  2. i sya the best one is The Official SAT Study guide, it has lots of questions explained that are exxamples, and its from collegeboard, it helped me practice taking the SAT in a better way

  3. I'd stick with the books that collegeboard.com suggests.

    I have Barron's Math/Writing/Critical Reading (3 separate books [Amazon.com])

Also, I take Kaplan Prep SAT classes and they supplied us with AMAZING books. Check their site out to see if you can get just the books if you don't want the tutoring: http://www.kaptest.com/sat

    maybe give them a call?

    Good luck!

  4. Well i liked The Princeton Review books and also the Kaplan. If you are getting a review book you should get one that comes with a cd. It offers more tests and other useful tools.

A SAT course is also very helpful. The Princeton Review is awesome. They give you excellent books that also helps you study for the test. They also researched the most common 250 words found on the SAT.
