What are the best bars in Toronto for 25 & over on a Friday?

Looking for a good lounge/bar place to go Friday night for a bit older crowd, like 25 - 35 ish. Any suggestions?

My thought would be more tot the places in Yorkville or along Bloor stSt west of Spadina, the others mention are more rowdy noisy hangouts.

You want something to sit and have a drink in peace, not fights or gun fire, the more you get into the "Entertainment District " you making a choice to wait for hours while the glittery mucky-mucks get in, try the area I mentioned they are quieter, and no waiting , and your not target.

I was a chef for many years and worked in downtown Toronto and have been in all this areas.
