What are the best beaches on Trinidad? Are any beaches polluted?

there are some wonderful beaches in Trinidad but i would have to say the to best are maracas bay

and ma crepe this beach is some beautiful and in the afternoon time there has been a number of times i have spotted dolphins in the horizon

i do not find these beaches to be polluted

The north coast is nice to bath,but my personal opinion is that all beaches are polluted,a beach can never be clean with all different people bathing at the same time and sometimes letting out waste in the water.The south beaches are more muddy and oily,but my best choice would be Maracas.

The best beach in my opinion is Las Cuevas - really beautiful!

There is a Car Park with the facilities, but I park lower down - there is a dirt road before the Beach Facilities and Fishing Depot.  The road is a bit bumpy and dusty, but the idea of parking your car on or very near the beach is a plus!

This area is cleaner than the general area and its quiet~

I am heading there on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and ah cyar wait

Some really nice beaches are Maracas Bay, Balandra Bay, (located on Trinidad's northeastern coast), Salibea Bay (Off Toco Main Road ), Las Cuevas Bay (On North Coast Road, seven miles east of Maracas Bay), and Grand Riviere (located on Trinidad's northeast coast).

Sadly, some of the beaches are polluted, but the majority are clean and beautiful :)

l agree with Trinisam. The main beaches that are "polluted" would be more in the Southern side of Trinidad where oil drilling and waste thereof is evident.
