  1. I use Roma Protec Sports boots all round on my boys, they are really sturdy and offer good protection to the fetlock, tendons, and suspensary ligaments, really good value for money too, they are about £35 - £40 a pair.

Other than that you can't go wrong with Woof Wear boots.

  2. You should always wear o/reach and brushing boots for any jumping comp. Only you can decide upon the horse if tendon support is needed.(once you start to use tendon support, then you must always continue.) Clarendon and Woof Wear are good makes.

  3. I use Wolf boots for the front and back  and Pro bell boots

  4. Couldn't tell you the best brand, but I would put brushing boots on all legs and cover them with bandages for extra protectiion - you should sew the bandages on to prevent them coming undone.

Also make sure you use over-reach, or "bell" boots on his front legs to prevent over-reach injuries.

If you are using studs I would recommend using a stud guard on the girth.

  5. This is the horse racing section. There is a Pets>Horse section where you might get better/more responses.
