  1. I prefer Montec made by G5. They are one piece, cut-on-contact, almost indestructible, resharpenabe extremely tough broad-heads that i have personally seen shatter right through bone. They also make similar field points so you can practice with the feel of what you will be hunting with.

Many will suggest mechanicals, I do not. They are good and make a big cut.........but...........they are mechanical and with anything mechanical, they don't always work 100% right and don't stand up to bone very well. Plus I've never seen a mechanical field point for practicing with.

  2. use a fixed blade broad head. Mechanicals fly better but sometimes they fail to open causing you to lose your animal. Make sure that they're tuned correctly with your bow for better flight.

  3. Thunderheads, muzzy, magnus stinger, slick tricks, not necessary in that order For traditional, Zwickey and magnus two blade heads

  4. Fixed blade cut on contact work the best. I shoot Thunderhead 100 grain myself. Never had a single problem with them.

  5. I love my muzzy 90 grain broadheads.
