What are the best caribbean beaches?

We are a family of three. My 13 year old daughter and my hubby. We would like to go to a paradise with calm, warm, crystal blue waters. We plan to go around Nov. 22 to about Dec. 1. This is the end of hurricane season, and we don't want to get affected by that.

I can't tell you about all the caribbean but Grand Cayman beaches have particularly calm warm waters because a reef almost entirely encircles the island. Seven Mile Beach at the West End of the island is lively, with all the resorts and night life that goes with it. Other parts of the island are quieter and the beaches are too.

I'll rank the order i think has the best beaches that i have been to:

1.Varadero

2.Punta Cana

3.Ocho Rios, Jamaica

4.St.maarten

4.Bahamas

Although I have not been to all of the caribbean beaches, I think to go to paradise with a 13 year old, you should go to the US Virgin Islands. No passport, easy travel there, and family friendly. Most stay on St Thomas, beautiful beaches, but things to do as a family. Coral World Marine Park, for example. Marine park on the beach, that allow snorkeling at the beach right next door. Easy travel on the island,  open air taxi's that pick-up drop off everywhere anytime, and cost like $2-3 bucks a person. Also romantic island. Private boat rides, etc. Ferrys that take you to other islands, like St John, British Virgin Islands, etc.

Another plus about the USVI is that they have not had a hurricane hit in 8+ years, so should be good weather. We were there last year right after Thanksgiving until Dec 3rd. 60's at night, 80's during the day, and no rain! It was peaceful and relaxing.
