Don't mind about cuisine type, would prefer somewhere you can buy drink, or at least BYO

  1. The Stock Pot, in Earl's Court was very good, circa 1976.

  2. Try Bodean's BBQ on Poland Street or Ping Pong on Great Marlborough Street.

  3. Wagamama's best for me in terms of not being the usual fast food kind of place like McDs or Burger King.  Food is served quick but is excellent quality and very reasonable price too.

If you are looking for sandwiches and the like for lunch then Bejy's is easily the cheapest, though sometimes of debatable quality - but I guess you get what you pay for in London.

  4. macdonalds or subway, both great joints and cheap.

  5. Stockpot is good - there is one in Old Compton Street and one behind Oxford Street near Selfridges somewhere

Huge menu cheap food quick servic

House wine is drinkable and very cheap

  6. Try Gormet Burger Kitchen or Wagamama.  Both quite cheap, relaxed atmosphere and serve booze.

  7. Why not try a Wetherspoons Pub, the food is very cheap and so is the drink. You can find them everywhere in London.

If you don't want a pub, try the toptable site where it lists and reviews cheap restaurants in London:

Hope this helps and good eating:>)

  8. McDonalds?

  9. kfc    or     burger king

  10. Wagamama is good- lots for a nice price...

The George Pub it's between Notting Hill and Kensington... thai/chinese.

There's a good vegetarian restaurant off Marylebone High street and the road Madam T's is on...

The Girrafe is good but no BYO so far as I know...

  11. I like Canton's in China Town - Roast Pork on rice and a beer for around a fiver.

  12. I'd say go to Brick Lane and have Indian food, there are so many restaurants down there that you get really good deals.

Also, Wagamama is great but not really really cheap

There are som great really cheap vietnamese restaurants on Kingsland Rd upp the road from Liverpool St.

    Otherwise check out China Town

Pub chains Like Pitcher & Piano or the Slug & Lettuce have nice food for a good price.

You can get nice stuff at Camden Market or go to Burough Market and try cheeses and olives and stuff for free .

A favorite of mine for Italian is Amalfi in Soho, on Old Compton St. Also the Boardwalk in Soho has really good prices, 2 couse meals for about £10 and it's nice food and huge portions.
