I plan on going to Italy summer 2007. Are there any good vacation packages out there for a 10 day trip that goes to more than 3 cities that are all inclusive? Preferrably from north to south. I am looking for something similar to what Contiki has to offer but without an age limit. Thanks!

  1. Make Venice one of your stops. See below

  2. if you are not familiar with Italian culture, then go to Florence, its very Americanized

  3. u can go to the city center the ITALY

  4. Definitely go to Venice.  It's wonderful.

  5. Try a Rick Steve's package tour.  It's not all inclusive, but it includes hotel, transport, selected meals, admission to attractions, a guide book and a phrase book.  This guy is a travel pro, and his trips are always highly recommended.  If you book before Oct 1, you get a 15% discount in his online travel store.

He does a Venice, Florence and Rome tour in ten days.

  6. Praiano is on the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy. It has not been overrun with tourist as Amalfi has, while it is still very close by. The island of Capri is not far way either, and is nice to visit. But it is great to return to a place like Praiano where you will feel comfortable and have the best views ever while getting a true Italian experience. Stay at the Hotel Tromondoro. AMAIZING. Florence is overrated, the art is good (make sure to make reservations about 6 months before you want to be there for the Uffizi gallery and the Academia). Venice is nice but the food is not nearly as good as someother places. San Gimignano is a nice medieval town in Tuscany.
