What are the best cities to visit in the North of Italy?

I am planning on spending 7-10 days in Italy and decided to stick to the north of Italy. What are the best cities to visit if i do not have a car ( I will stick to public transportation).

  1. I'd recommend that you travel by train. Padua, Verona and Milan are very close to Venice and train travel is extremely easy. Florence is my favourite city and definately not one to be missed.

  5. the most popular cities are venezia and milano. pisa and firenze if you go a little more south. but you can take off and visit the surroundings because it is beautiful!
