  1. Stay away from bulldog, grasshopper as they are too commercial and over priced. You will find better prices

the further you go away from the centrum. There tons of cool

shops in Amsterdam, wander around and you'll find plenty

    you like.

First Aid on Marnixstraat/Rosengracht is nice, a few floors, comfy seating and good weed. The Edelwise and Bubblegum are good.

A little further but worth the walk or tram 17 stops in across the street.

  2. I forget the name of the website..but search for amsterdam coffeeshop review..there is a site with user submitted reviews for them all..but yeh , like you say, stay away from the big touristy ones...Centraal (just over the road from Central Station)is good for example, great selection.,,,oh and by the way...Im due a visit there again..fancy smuggling me in your case?

  3. I was gonna say the usual ones, but you're already tried those.

While you're there, go to a little place called Luxembourg on the other side of the Damrak, they do the most wonderful gourmet burgers I've ever had, and I've had a few!

  4. Cafe Russe and Tropical Paradise just off Dam Square. Locals tend to prefer Cafe Russe - less seedy!

  5. We got some really good stuff from somewhere around the Red Light District, it must have been pretty good because I don't even remember the name of the place.  In that area is a bar called Stone's Cafe, though, that serves alcohol and lets you smoke that stuff inside.  We also went to Dampkring, it was near the Flower Market.  Their stuff was pretty good and it was cool to see the place, it was supposedly in the movie Ocean's 12.  But there are so many coffeeshops there that you could try.

  6. when i go, i always go to the 'hill street blues', it's really chilled out, quiet, and it's very near the grasshopper.

another good one is called abacus.

  7. ask locals and iam guessing you don't mean nescafe

  8. Maaaan i wanna go to Amsterdam.

  9. Dutch Flowers

    Grey Area

    Kandinsky's

Get out of your face for me stay clear of the tacky ones sometime better paying for better quality - i think there is a smoking ban in place now - you can smoke the blow but cannot use an tobacco in the coffee shops

    Have fun

  10. Coffee shops... Amsterdam...

In the airport when you leave... should be the only ones you see...
