What are the best colleges in the East that I can get into...?

I'm thinking about going into Psychology or criminal justice.

my GPA is about a 3.5 but my SAT score was only a 1580ish

Hood College in Frederick, Maryland has a decent Psychology program. It is a small school near Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD.

"the East" is a big place. "that you can get into" is too vague.

The best college for you is the one that you can afford, that feels comfortable for you and that will give you the training that you will need.

Please talk to your guidance counselor in your high school. She is in much closer contact with the information that you need than any of us strangers out here.
