What are the best colors to attract people?

We are redoing our website and feel some contrasting colors may be something that attracts.

The human brain is drawn most to bright and vibrant colors like red and purple. Red, especially, is a 'flashy' color. Neon green, sunny yellow, crimson, azure... the more pure the hue and brilliant the intensity, the more it draws not just the human eye, but animal eyes as well. Deer are color blind to bright orange, but hummingbirds attract most to bright red.

If you're looking for brilliant contrasts, try cyan with bright orange. Use opposite ends of the color spectrum to draw attention. Lime green and amethyst purple work well, too. Cyan is a cool hue while orange incorporates both warm hues yellow and red. Lime green incorporates a cool and warm hue (blue and yellow) as does purple (blue and red). Use bright colors that pop. You can also try any bright vibrant color with a nice rich chocolate brown. Black backdrops with neon pastels will really draw attention as well.

i think black attacts. Black is s**y. Clothes, shoes, lingerie, whatever. Now if ur BIG/FAT, you can easy get someone's attention in LIME GREEN or YELLOW, and RED. You should pick something black and elegant.

Well you don't like anything to flashy that's going to make some one noshes by looking at it like stripes or dots things like that . I think the traditional colors black and white are good for reading let your pictures do the talking. You really don't want colors  attracting people and completely miss the concept of your site . Objects attract people not colors that's why they use so many s**y woman in commercials . Its all in the content not the colors.
