  1. We've only ever gone Disney - and I highly recommend them.  Depends on the type of cruise you are looking for...Disney is family/clean/no casino/excellent customer service.

My family has always gone Royal Caribean and they have never had a complaint.  Now that our kids are older, we will go through them.

Carnival is more of a party atmosphere, probably least expensive line.  However, I have heard complaints about their line (food, quality, etc).

    Bon Voyage!

  2. I am a Royal Carribean fan. My wife & I have been on 3 with them. They give that pampered to almost spoiled feeling. Their 2 new ships Freedom & Liberty both sail out of Miami & they will keep you busy.

The rates are reasonable & if your looking to party the night away they have a great disco that stays open LATE. great music in there as well. Get an interior room and you can sleep late as you won't see the day light.

Take the Western Carribean trip as the ports are much better. Puerto Rico is the 1st stop on the Eastern Carribean trip & you don't get much time there as they arrive at 4pm & leave at 9pm.

    Have fun.

  3. Ive left from Miami on both Carnival and RCCL. I very much prefer Carnival ( Fascination). The food and service was great and there was plenty of activities to keep us busy on board. Sovereign of the Seas needed a total refurb, The rooms were tiny and we had water and sewer issues most of the cruise ( I was with 9 friends and we had 5 rooms, all had issues with sewer back up and my rooms had minimal A/C). If you are going to party either ship was good although I though Fascination was a little rowdier. Have fun and Happy Birthday

  4. Royal carribean is very nice, I would do that.

We had a make-a-wish cruise on that ship, they were very friendly

  5. Probably the best lines for you are Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian, all of which have ships based in Miami and a few also have ships based in nearby Ft. Lauderdale.

I recommend these lines because their passengers tend to be younger and more active then some of the other lines.
