10 ANSWERS

  1. Disney cruise lines

    princess cruise lines

    royal carribean cruise lines

  2. best site to check out, www.vacationstogo.com lots of information, best prices, and you can call them also

  3. The Port of Galveston offers three cruises.

Carnival offers a 5-day cruise on the Ecstasy and a 7-day cruise on the Conquest.  Royal Caribbean runs a part time schedule with winter departures of the Voyager of the Seas.

Carnival is very kid and budget friendly.   24 hour pizza and ice cream are big hits with our teen and tween.  The staff is very accomodating to the kiddos.

The Ecstasy is a smaller and older ship but still offers a good introduction to cruising.  The ports of call are Cozumel and Progresso.  Cozumel is a great stop with tons of activities and very tourist friendly.  Progresso is a developing port and there is less to do without a near 2 hour bus ride.  There is a fun open air market in Progress where you can pick up t-shirts and other knick nacks cheaply.

The Conquest is a larger ship and provides a very smooth ride.  Her ports of call are Jamacia, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. There is something for everyone in the family on the Conquest.  We enjoy this ship and will be taking our 3rd cruise on her next summer.

I have never sailed on the Voyager of the Seas but we did sail on her predessor, the Rhaposody of the Seas.  I will never sail RC again after spending a week on that bucket of bolts.

If sailing out of the Port of Galveston, use Lighthouse parking instead of parking at the cruise terminal and you will save yourself some bucks.

Avoid sailing from late June to November...hurricane season.  Avoid sailing in March - Spring Break for Texas students.  Be sure to compare your sail date to the new passport rules.

Carnival has a neat new on-line booking tool and their personal vacation planners are very helpful.

  4. carnival cruise and nick cruises they are awesome!!!

  5. Disney Cruise Lines was definitely a great cruise.  While there definitely plenty of activities for the children to be involved in, you also don't feel like you are being overwhelmed by Disney either.

  6. royal caribbean if your kids are over 10

carnival or disney if their under 10

  7. Number one family cruise is Disney. They are higher in price but well worth the price.

Number 2 is Carnival. They have a great kids program.

Cruising June to November is ok even in hurricane season. Do you think the cruise lines are going to put multimillion $ ships in danger or passengers.

Sorry got of on a side track after reading one of the answers.

  8. We've gone on Disney once and are going again next week, and once you go on Disney, you are hooked!!! We had the BEST vacation ever with our 3 children, all under age 10. But I really don't think it matters the ages- a Disney cruise is so magical and fun! The rooms are so much bigger than other ships we've been on, the ships are absolutely spotless, and the staff go way above and beyond to make you feel special. Since you are coming from Texas, the best thing to do would make it a land and sea vacation experience by purchasing the package where you spend a few days at Disney World and do the Disney cruise. It is completely stress-free and like I said, we will not go back to any other cruise line, now that we've experienced Disney cruises. You can go onto Disneycruise.com and get a free DVD from them which shows you everything about the cruises.
