  1. The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line is the best....

  2. Don't u'll sink!

  3. The Bermuda cruise season is from mid May to early October, with pricing at the beginning and end of the season less costly than "prime time", June, July, and August.

Bermuda's two harbors are very small, so any ship that is docking in Hamilton or St. George will not be one of the mega-ships, but in the more intimate (and, yes, older) 50,000 ton and less category.  Most of these ships do not have balconies or many of the "bells and whistles" that the newer ones have - they are, however, beautiful ships. The third "port" is Kings Wharf, where some of the larger ships anchor and tender their passengers ashore.  Be sure of where your cruise ship is visiting if you don't want to be disappointed.

My recommendation is to look at: #1) Celebrity, and, #2) Royal Caribbean.  Both are far superior to the other ships doing this sailing, and have excellent children's programs.  Oh yes, this is a very popular cruise for families - if this is an issue, ask your agent to book your cruise while the kids are still in school.

As far as the best time to buy your cruise, if your cabin type and location on-board the ship is important to you, you'll need to book 8-12 months in advance.  Many people want to be mid-ship, especially on a Bermuda cruise, where the Atlantic can be very rough around Cape Hatteras, and book well in advance. All that you need to do is put down a small deposit to "hold" your assigned cabin.  If you don't care about your cabin, and are willing to take "what's left", then try for a last minute "deal" about 6-8 weeks before the cruise.

    Go and enjoy!

  4. NCL -- buy early cause most sailings sell out.

Check around for the best deal.

  5. Where do you want to leave from?

I'd suggest finding a cruise that will go to both ports in Bermuda and not just one.

The best time to buy them?  Either a year before, or 3 weeks before the cruise sets sail.

    Have fun and good luck!

  6. October - November has the best price.

I am looking at a 5 night Bermuda cruise from NYC for $399
