  1. I love just steak on the grill, but I use charcoal.  A good cut of steak only requires salt and pepper.

Lean- New York cut (the biggest part of a TBone)

Tender- Fillet Mingnon (the smallest part of a TBone)

    Fatty- Ribeye

If you choose to buy cheap meat, tenderize with a sweet and sour sauce, slice them thin and skewer them to make kabobs.

As far as pork goes, I like boneless chops, the thick ones.  You can skewer these as well (sliced very thin and marinated)

Get some green peppers and onions and cut them in large sections.  Put them on a skewer (the wood ones should soak in water for an hour) , then spray with "Pam" and sprinkle salt and pepper on them.  Grill them as well.  Yum

I have grilled a mix of veggies in foil, but it takes longer than steaming them.

There are plenty of rubs and marinades out there, but I buy the choicest meats and don't need them.

Cooking time depends on how hot your grill is.  Pork should be done at 160^ and steak is done when you like it-rare, meduin, meduim well and well done.

A good steak should never be well done.  Medium is the choice preferred for a good, tender cut of beef.
