Question:

What are the best days of the week to visit Disney Theme Parks?

We are visiting the Disney Theme Parks in mid/late October. I know that certain parks are predictably more crowded on certain days than others. I found this info online for previous trips and for the most part it proved quite accurate, but it's been awhile & I can't find it for this trip. Basically I'm trying to plan which days to visit each park to avoid (as much as possible) the crowds. Any tips out there?

  1. The best thing to do is set yourself up with how to handle crowds correctly, and how to navigate the parks, that way even if it is really busy you are happy and have a great time!  You can learn a lot about Disney World at http://orlandofuntickets.com/Learn-About...

    Have fun!

  2. always best to go when the chilblains are at school, so check that it isn't half term, in the UK or france. I usually try to go on a tuesday as this is a good turn over day anyway, with people driving home after a long weekend, or just arriving for a midweek break. We accidentally went near Halloween once and it was a really happy mistake, it was busier but they had loads of cool things on, around the lake and where the haunted house is, well worth going, WOOPS!! I assumed you meant Disneyland Paris there!!! BUT even if it is America, the same will be true. You will have a great time! x

  3. You know, during that time, most kids are in school so even though it will be alittle crowded, it wont be as bad as it would be during the summer or during christmas/new years

  4. I think what you are looking for is the daily WDW crowd calendars and recommended not recommended parks on this site: http://www.touringplans.com/tp2/UG2_inde...

Also see this for a weekly view on crowds at Disney World, with longer term crowd forecasts: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-...

Hope this helps and have a great trip!!

  5. It depends if you are staying on or off Disney property.  If you are off property, you want to avoid the park that has early Extra Magic Hours each day, because by the time you get there, that park is already full of people.  If you are on site, you want to utilize Extra Magic Hours.  Also, if, for instance, Epcot has late Extra Magic Hours on wed. night (9p - 12a), then it's going to be the place to go thursday morning, because crowds are light, assuming you are off site and not using using early EMH in another park that day.

Weekends are busiest during the school year because FL residents (like my family) join the throng since kids are out of school.
