I dont know about best days, but you should try to book asap as the hotels, campsites etc are booked from one year to the next - its very hard to get accommodation during that week.

If you got enough hols go for practice and race weeks, if you can get accomodation that is. Suggest travel from Heysham with steam packet co. Know it a trek from surrey, but you get to meet bikers from all over world on that route, adds to the fun of the event.

You need to book your stay a good few years before, and your travel at least 24 months ahead.
