I like Electrosol 3 in 1.  It has the rinse aid right in it as well as a pre-scrubber.

Ask any plumber and he will tell you not to use them or powders because they build up scum in your pipes. Only use liquid dishwasher detergent. Nothing with lemon because lemon pits your silverware over time. I use Cascade  with dawn.

Without knowing where you are, I find the best tablets to be either the Finish 5 in 1 tablets or the Morning Fresh 5 in 1 with the dissoluble tablets. I just buy them from the supermarket. I've also found it very useful to make sure you use a dishwasher cleaner once a month, made such a difference on our glass wear in particular.

In the United States ELECTROSOL just changed their name to FINISH... They are resonable and work really well.... I've been using them for a couple years without any problems.

In a recent Which magazine survey they found that Tesco Basic ones were the best. They recommend staying away from the 4 in 1, 5 in 1 etc tablets and putting seperate rinse aid and salt in your dishwasher as thats what they are designed to do.

They work for us, and they're well cheap.

u can get them from asda or anywhere

they're the most expensive i think but the fairy ones are good as well

KH is right.  A plumber told me the same thing.  I always use a liquid detergent for both dishwasher and laundry.

I am in a hard water area i have to use all sorts to get a good clean i dont' see any difference between the more expensive tabs i still need salt also   I use rinse aid liquid as well. I quite like the ones from aldi having a blank on the price though box of 40 is about 3.89 at a guesstimate.
