What are the best dive spots accessible from Port Vila in Vanuatu ?

Going on Holiday in a few days and I only have limited time to catch a few dives from the Port Vila area.

Port Vila isn't really a great spot for diving (don't go in the main harbour-very polluted), as much of that side of the island is shallow, but having said that there is some great snorkeling if you take a short bus ride (use the buses not the taxi's costs around 200vatu per person) around to paradise cove and breakers resort (although there has been some cyclone damage in recent months. I if you are really keen on diving its worth going on a dive boat cost around 7000-8000 vatu on the other side of the island they go out near hat island and a few of the other islands...its a full day trip but you should get 3 or 4 dives in (including fish feeding)- your resort operator will book everything for you... so just ask them as soon as you get there...enjoy
