  1. Eggs are the best form of protein for humans.  It's the protein against which all other protein sources are judged.  Eat lots - they're good.  

    There was a case in "Protein Power" where some old fellow ate 24 eggs a day - he liked them, I guess.  When the doctors who wrote the book examined him, he was within normal ranges for cholesterol/blood pressure/etc.


  2. Eat a variety of foods and you'll be fine.  Unless you're starving yourself or eating too much junk food, it's impossible not to get enough protein.  In fact, even vegans get more than they need.

    A general guideline I have heard is one needs between .3 and .5 grams of protein per pound of body weight.  Excess protein causes you to lose calcium and harms the kidneys.  Don't worry about protein, okay?

  4. Eggs are a far inferior form of protein compared to hemp seed. Besides, eggs are not actually vegetarian.

    This dude eats almost no protein, and he is muscular as all heck. Same with me. I eat almost all fresh fruits and veggies, and I have too much muscle for a competitive bicyclist.

    Stick with raw fruits and veggies, cooking them destroys almost all of the nutritional value. Try to vary your diet in regards to color, so you get a good spread of nutrients.

    As to that first answer: Fish and birds and crustaceans are still meat.

    veggie burgers contain a good amount of protein. also nuts, peanut butter, cheeses, beans, soy milk, soy nuts... if you eat eggs, that works too
