  1. Callaway X20's

  2. I really like the Pings. They are super forgiving and the custom fit is great. I have taken around 6 strokes off my game so far with them.

  3. Adams A3 Oversize...they are the easiest irons to hit on the market. I work at a golf store and they're our best sellers because people love the hybrids that come with the set. Hyrbids are easier to hit than regular irons because they allow you to hit the ball higher and more consistant. I'll give you their website so you can look at their clubs.

  4. The Callaway Big Bertha Irons are definetly they way forward. They are just so forgiving and you can shank the ball and it will still go straight.

I bought them in January 2007 as a 27 handicapper. At the end of the year I was off 9. I know my golf must have improved but the clubs definetly help as well.

The new callaway big bertha 2008 irons look great.

  5. You've got to find irons that have the look and feel you desire. When I stepped up my irons, instead of the heavier, wide soled irons with lots of "forgivness", I wanted a club with a lighter head and sharper sole, like the clubs I had learned to play with. Some of the major companies' websites (i.e., Callaway Preowned, Ping) have charts to show you what the characteristics are of specific models and how they would fit for your strengths. And, like someone else said, good clubs can't fix a bad swing.

  6. Golf magazine and Golf Digest magazine both have annual issues comparing clubs.  Mizuno, Ping, Cobra, Callaway, Taylormade all have game improvement clubs.  The best ones are the ones that fit your swing, so go to a store or pro that can let you hit some, and consider paying for a fitting before you buy them if you can.

  7. Mizuno MX 23. They are tried and true. If you are an 18 handicap these clubs will take you all the way to the single digit level. And since they are three years old, you will get a great price too.

  8. put your money into lessons money well spent

  9. Wishon 560"s       http://www.wishongolf.com/

Off the rack club's fit no one,

  10. I just bought some taylormade R7 Draw irons - suddenly I'm hitting them farther and straighter.  And they feel good in my hand.  Before I had Nike NDS irons - ok but these Taylormade R7s are excellent.

    Just a recommendation...
