The sausage Factory in the Castro district. Then again anywhere in the Castro is g*y friendly.

Daddy's is a popular choice in the Castro [obviously] other good bars in that area are The Mix and Badlands on 18th at Castro.  The Overlook at Noe and Market is a cool spot as well.

Another options in the Castro is A different Light bookstore or the Castro County Club.

South of Market check out the Eagle [legendary Sunday afternoon beer bashes] or the Loading Dock [leather bar].

There are still a few g*y bars along Polk Street as well, the Cinch-Polk at Clay is a friendly little neighborhood pub.  Kareoke bars are the n'touch Polk at Sacramento on Fridays or Encore, Encore California at Polk every night.

And don't miss the GLBT center on Market at Octavia.
