  1. just make sure the clubs r long enough and its ok to have them a little bit longer than they should b cause u can always choke up on the clubs

  2. I am only 5' 6" and I was told I would be able to hit men's clubs with no problem. You might want to go to a golf store and hit some clubs. If you don't want to spend a lot on clubs until you know for you sure you want to continue playing, check into a starter set or a used set that you could get at the golf store. If you have Golfsmith store in you area check with them.

  3. New Inferno PETITE Complete Lady Golf Club Set with Stand Bag

Designed for new golfers this package includes all the clubs needed to start playing and enjoy the game. This package is an excellent choice for players looking for their first set or looking to move up from "hand-me-down" clubs.

  4. try callaway they are forgivving. also try maybe ram or nickent hybrid irons

  5. Becky, might I suggest you do this and save yourself money, and not enjoying your golf game very much.

You are at 5'9" a little taller than the average lady golfer.  This will come in to play in your club selection as well. Most women golf clubs are a little shorter than mens..but in your case you might need the longer length.

So, pay a visit to one of your local golf courses and see one their golf professionals.  It won't cost you anthing to do this.  And his, or her, advice and help can save you money and know you are selecting the best golf clubs that fit you, Becky.  You can't find this out buying clubs off the rack at stores...or even at a golf course.  Most all courses today have a club fitting display with a professional to assist you.

Matter of fact, you could even call around to some of the courses and ask your questions before going over to one.

Make a little list of things you want to tell them about yourself, so this will give them some idea what you might require, then you make your choice as to the one you want to see.  It will be worth all your time invested doing this.

  6. there are many golf brands out there. For beginners , you dont need the big brandnames, you can get a good set at Walmart, or Target, or even Sports Authority , full set with putter included under  150 dollars.

Get out there and practice, your height is just fine, no adjustments needed.

ONce you get to 40 handicat you can buy some brand name golf clubs, but learn with these and enjoy the game. Thats what it is all about,....just a game for enjoying.

    good luck
