  1. There are a wide variety clubs designed for different skill levels of the golfer and the best for me may not be the best for you.  Remember this in your search however, the shaft is the most important component in any club and needs to be matched to your swing speed and desired ball flight.  Secondly fitting of the set to you body type and swing is really essential regardless of the brand.

That being said some of the top brands are; Callaway, Titleist, Taylormade, Ping, and Mizuno.

  2. For an entire set, Ping G10s

    If you are choosing parts.

    TaylorMade Driver

    Ping Irons

    Titleist Wedges

    Odessey Putter

  3. Taylor Made Golf- R7 Draw Rescue Hybrid Graphite

  4. Right now I'm using R7 Draw (Steel) which I really hate and going to switch for Ping G5 (Graphite). I went to Golf Shop and demo different club  and picked the club that suited for me. I suggest go to Golf Shop and do the same also,  because everybody have different opinion. Good Luck!

  5. my vote goes to Ping, but whatever clubs you get I would recommend getting fitted for them. So many people just buy clubs off the rack which in my opinion is just wasting money. If you are serious about playing and enjoying the game, fitting is the way to go. Fitted clubs don't cost anymore and if you actually have a person trained in club fitting watch you hit a few balls you can make sure you are getting the right shaft, lie angle etc. that fits your body and swing type.

  6. Callaway, they have some quality clubs

  7. The best clubs are the ones that suit you and your game best. No two people are exactly alike, so you need to try a few if possible.

Having said that, you'll find that the same names are always popular. In no particular order:

    Callaway

    Ping

    Taylormade

    Mizuno

    Cleveland

    Nike

    Cobra

    Odyssey (putters)

These are all great manufacturers and you can be sure you'll get good clubs from any of them, even if sometimes some seem to be 'better' in a particular area (Mizuno forged irons for example).
