Question:

What are the best healthy snacks for me?

Any ideas? I am extremely picky and I want to start eating healthier.

  1. fruit ... make your own trail mix of dry-roasted nuts, dried fruit ...  fresh veggies

Anything thats all natural.  like apples, carrots with peanut butter, salad with fruit, no dressing, and NO HOSTESS PRODUCTS!!!   thats the thing. if it comes from the earth it's pretty heakthy,  but if it's been put through manufacturing then its genarlly not.  next year you can try planting a garden.  carrots, blue berry's, corn, tomatoes, sunflowers.   just go easy on the salt, butter and limit yourself 2 1 dessert a day.

    it's hard, i havnt even gone 1 day, without havin more then 1 desert.  

    another thng u cna do is count up how many calories you eat. the average is 2,000.  if your under thats great, if your over then your gonna need 2 push yourself a little more.  

    just dont starve your self that's the worst thing u can do,  NEVER DO THAT!!!

  4. Fruits and veggies. Granolas and nuts (but not a lot.). Pretzels aren't too bad of a snack and popcorn without butter.

  6. 100 calorie packs of many food like oreos and honey grahams!... they are low in calories, and allow you to "cheat" on your diet a little, while maintaining caloric intake :)

  8. fruits, veggies, nuts.  All the answers already given are good.  Try to find items that are as natural as possible.  If you feel like you must have something like crackers or chips-  get the baked variety and look for whole-grain.  

  9. Guacamole is excellent. The avocado in it makes it extremely healthy. You can find recipes online and in most cookbooks.
