I suffer from daily migraines. I have seen 4 neurologist and none have treated the causes of my migraines. I have taken just about every prescription and am now willing to venture into herbal remedies.

  1. Feverfew. Make a tea with it, or just chew the leaves.

That other guy is right too, a Chiropractor might help. Also, if you find the cause of your migraines you might be able to stop getting them. They can be caused by lots of things like hormones, or they could even be an allergic reaction.

MSG allergies cause migrain-like symtoms. Whenever I drink fruit flavored sodas that contain ester gum I get migrains, and some people get them from caffeine.

They may also becaused by stress so you might just need to avoid stress.

Yeah, but anyway, feverfew works really well for me. Drink some feverfew tea and have a hot shower and they usually go away.

  2. Don't know of any herbal remedies, but soak your feet in water as cold as you can stand next time a migraine hits you. It works every time for me.

  4. Look this is not herbal and I have experience. Do this and came back to thank me (after  amonth)

When you woke up, eat few pieces of Apple (if you want complete) before you eat anything else. Do it everytime you woke up and let me know what do you think.

Another good medication is Aloe vera and there are products similar: http://www.couponcodesmall.com/712/aloer...

  5. Coenzyme Q10 is supposed to be good for the prevention of migraines.

Reducing your sugar intake might also help as sugar can cause headaches, including migraines.  See item 71 (of items 1-146) in http://www.rheumatic.org/sugar.htm which covers 146 reasons why sugar is ruining your health.

  6. Hi there. Sorry to hear of this. I know personally how terrible this can be.

I can only recommend one product that I know of which has worked. Obviously, there will be others as well, but I don't know of other ones. Try MiGone. Please be patient, perhaps a few weeks and give it a chance. I hope it works for you as well. Check the link below to see what the product can do for you.

  7. See your chiropractor.  He can help out immensely.

  8. A chiropractor, like one poster mentioned, can do a lot of help, but there are tons of great homeopathic remedies that help with headaches and migranes.  I really like the products on Dr. Angel's website.  Her migrane formula combines a bunch of different vitamins so you don't have to take multiple things.  Here's the link:

I hope it helps you out!  I've used her skin/hair stuff, and muscle supplements for aches, etc, and always loved them.

  9. For treating symptoms:

Feverfew will help the pain, ginkgo biloba aids circulation and can reduce sensitivity to light and sound, peppermint will help with the nausea.

    At the onset:

Take lecithin (between 3 and 6 1,200 mg capsules ) at the first sign of a migraine- it lessens both length and severity of the headache.

Inhale essential oil of lavender at the beginning of a migraine- this also can lessen pain and duration.

    To prevent occurrences:

Avoid avocados, aged meats, chocolate, MSG, nitrites, canned fish, alcohol and dairy products. And get regular Chiropractic adjustments, they really do help
