What are the best hotels on Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas?

Family of 4 (2 school age children) going spring of 2009 to Cabo. We are looking for the best hotel, maybe AI, on the best beach. Want great adult and children accommodations. I have searched all sites, many don't tell you what is located "right on" Medano. Thank you for your feedback!

i am 15 and go to villa del arco

i have been going since i was a baby every year and i love it

its not all inclusive which is nice because you can go out and try the great restaurants for dinner

you can buy food because there is a full kitchen in each room so you can cook lunch and breakfast, or eat at the restaurants

the rooms are huge and have a huge balcony

the pools fun for kids too because its big and has waterfalls and fountains and a big pirate ship to swim around

theres always a lot of other kids there too

Hola!  I live here in Cabo and know all the hotels on Medano beach...

The best hotel on Medano is the ME Melia.  However, it is not where I would go if I had kids.  I would consider the Pueblo Bonito or nxt door the Pueblo Bonito Rosa, or the Villas (del arco, estanica, palmar). If I were trying to do my trip in a budget, then I would consider an all-inclusive such as the Riu Palace or Riu Sante Fe.  All of these are on the same beach that Medano is on.
