  1. I vote for Nike Sumo2 hybrids.  I have two of them, no 2 (to replace my five woods), and 4 (to replace my 3 iron).  They feel great, I know where I hit it, and sounds great.  The ball goes a mile with a boring trajectory and the sole glides through the turf.  In the rough not so much, as it has slightly bigger clubhead than other hybrids.

  2. nickent by far

  3. IMO, the best bang for your buck is the Cleveland HALO Hybrids.  These are one model older than the newest from Cleveland, and I can hardly tell the difference between the HALO and the newer Hi-Bore hybrid.

Having said that, go try some out at a golf specialty store; most stores will hapily allow you to hit demos.  I say this because personal preference plays a huge part in anyone's choice.  Upon very high recommendation, I bought a Taylormade Rescue hybrid and **hated** it.   ...and I even had a Taylormade driver that I loved, AND hit a hole-in-one on a par 4 wih the Rescue club, and I **still** hated it!!!

Once I bought the HALO, I fell in love with it and bought another.  I have replaced both my 3-wood and 2-iron with these hybrids.

Bottom line is:  there are many great manufacturers of hybrids and all the technology is very similar, so it boils down to what you feel comfortable with.

  4. I have to give the nod to Nickent for hybrids.

  5. No question Adams BY FAR!!!!!!

try before you buy, I like the CALLAWAY X  the best for me .

  10. The best hybrids for you are the ones that feel the best and produce the ball flight you're seeking. Only by trying different clubs will you know which are best for YOU.
