apple headphones that come with iPods.  i've tried others but they're by far the best there are

i think any of them are pretty good but i think the ipod onces dye pretty fast....like a wire in them comes loose and stops working w/ in a year. so when u get ur ipod use the head phones it comes w/ but dont be surprised if they stop working in a year. if u want them to last longer then dont roll the head phones around the ipod....i did that and i think thats why mine stopped working so fast....it happens w/ any kind of earbuds because it stretches the wires inside.
