What are the best irons on tour?

I want to know what irons you think are the best on the pga tour

A matter of opinion.  You could say the Nike Forged Blades are the best on tour since the best player in the world plays them.  Golf Magazine rated the Cobra Pro CB as the best better player iron out this year.

One cannot go by what irons are being played on tour because most of the pros have contracts with club makers and ball manufacturers to use their products for which they receive equipment as well as a stipend. So whatever is being used by your player of choice may well end up in your bag as the next purchase. So if you truly want to know you will have to canvas the 135 who are exempt on the PGA tour, an equal number who are playing the Nationwide.

The truthful answer is there is no answer. It depends on the player. If Cobra is sponsoring you to play their clubs, and you play well with them, then you play Cobra. The answer to this is whatever irons they play the best and get sponsored the most to play with.

taylormade clubs are played more than any other club but they also pay the most money out. here is a little fact from 92 to 2002 mizuno was the most popular iron on tour with no pay outs. makes ya wonder.
