What are the best law schools can I get into with a 167 LSAT and 2.8 gpa?

I was thinking Illinois (with a letter of rec from a Illinois PhD and B.A.), Wake Forest, Villanova, American Univ., Penn St. ?

  1. While your GPA is on the low end for a law student, you got a solid LSAT score that is above average. Considering that Harvard only talks to applicants with at least a 175 (if you're wondering the highest you can make is 180), you're competitive with that little bit on info we  have on you. A better GPA and you're a shoe-in, but I'd expect you'd get in at least 2 or 3 of those schools

    I'm just saying, my dad was valedictorian of a fairly large school, and he didn't get into Yale. his sat's were pretty good too.

    I'm not saying necessarily you want to go to Yale, but don't count on getting into somewhere great.
